I walked into the hotel room, carefully balancing the tray of food. “Room service, sir,” I said with a polite smile. The guest looked up from his seat, his eyes scanning me slowly before smirking.
“You must be busy all night… or do you have some free time?” he asked, his tone teasing.
I let out a small laugh. “Depends… why do you ask?”
He leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees. “I could use some company. It gets lonely in here.”
Something about the way he said it made my heart race. I hesitated for a second, then slowly set the tray down, meeting his gaze.
“Are you sure you can handle me?” I teased back, stepping closer.
